Be aware of all contact to your jewellery, delicate pieces can be caught on clothing or bag straps without being noticed. Your jewellery should be put on last when dressing and taken off first.

To help protect the durability and high-quality of your jewellery, remove when you shower, bathe or engage in heavy exercise, particularly when swimming in the sea or a chlorinated swimming pool.

Avoid spraying perfume, deodorant, hairspray, applying creams or any other liquids directly onto your jewellery and avoid dropping your jewellery as the small parts may break

Your jewellery should be stored individually in its original packaging in a dry, cool place to prevent it from being scratched, tangled or tarnishing.

To keep your jewellery looking radiant and to remove the build-up of dirt and premature tarnish we recommend using a polishing cloth. Rub the piece in one direction rather than circular motions. Do not use tissue paper or paper towels to clean metal as they can cause scratching.

Mary and May offer a three (3) month manufacturer’s warranty with every piece from the date of purchase. Our jewellery is of delicate nature and care must be taken when worn. It is important to follow the care instructions for your warranty to be applicable.

Warranty covers manufacturing defects however does not cover neglect and wear & tear or lost items.

The warranty is void if; an item is bent, engraved, accidental damage has occurred or has come in contact with a foreign substance which includes hand sanitiser, soap, cleaning products, skin creams or perfume.
